Yves began his career in 1974 as assistant product manager with Lesieur. In 1976, he joined the Institut de Développement Industriel ( I.D.I.), a pioneer in private equity in France. In 1980, he helped create the Institut de Développement des Industries Alimentaires (I.D.I.A.), and in parallel became Deputy Managing Director of Idianova, a private equity provider for innovative companies. In 1984, Yves was a co-founder of Transia, a startup specializing in applied biotechnology for the food industry, where he was Managing Director until 1991. In 1991, he joined Natixis Private Equity (then Financière Saint-Dominique), where he helped set up Natexis Industrie (now iXEN) in 1997. He was Chairman of the Management Board of Natexis Industrie from 2002 to 2006. Yves holds a degree in agronomic engineering from the INA and a Master of Science degree from Cornell University (USA).
