Caroline Rémus began her career in 1981 at the French Ministry of Agriculture, where she was head of the agrifoods financing bureau. In 1985 she joined Banexi, the BNP group's investment bank. After heading up the agrifoods and retailing sectors, in 1994 she was appointed to Banexi's Management Board, in charge of mergers & acquisitions.
In 1999, Caroline was appointed to the Executive Committee of BNP-Paribas Corporate Finance, in charge of the European teams and the Midcaps business. In 2000, she joined the Corporate Finance division of Crédit Agricole Indosuez, where she was head of the Consumer Goods sector.
Caroline joined Natexis Industrie (now iXEN) in October 2002.
She holds a degree in agronomic engineering from the INA-PG and a degree in rural engineering from the Ecole Nationale du Génie Rural des Eaux et Forêts.
