Business activity
Saverglass designs, manufactures and distributes luxury glass bottles and decanters. It has two production plants in France (Feuquières and Le Havre) which produce 200,000 tonnes of glass a year. Over the past fifteen years, Saverglass has achieved average annual revenue growth of more than 10% and has carved out a position as world leader in luxury bottles for spirits and fine wines.

Background to the deal
To meet buoyant demand, Saverglass's strategy is to expand its production capacity while maintaining the excellent product quality that has made its reputation.

Growth prospects
Saverglass was first founded in 1897 by Henri Desjonquères and bought back from Saint Gobain by Luc Desjonquères in 1976. It was later sold by the Desjonquères family to a group of investors led by iXEN.
